#WITcon18 sessions are starting to come together! We are in the process of finalizing our agenda for this year's amazing event! We're constantly impressed by the outstanding quality of presenters from our region, and we think you will be, too! Please note that these sessions are subject to change up until the day we start, so check back often for updates! DON'T MISS OUT! REGISTER TODAY!This year the Whatever It Takes Conference (WITcon) Executive Team, made up of staff from Galesburg CUSD 205, Carl Sandburg College, and Regional Offices of Education 26 & 33, chose to rearrange the WITcon18 schedule a bit. This is largely because the Team found that last year we had outgrown the available number of classrooms at Sandburg that we needed within a comfortable walking distance from one another while classes were in session. That kind of growth is a really good problem to have! However, to be respectful of Sandburg’s classes and the physical needs of many of the WITcon participants, some changes were needed. So, the Early Bird Rate of $99 covers the general conference schedule, just like last year. The general conference schedule, however, has changed:
We hope this provides a bit of clarity to our repeat-participants. We are looking forward to meeting old friends and new ones at #WITcon18!!
We're consolidating our social media presences to help make sure our participants can find us easily! Find us on social media at:

We are seeking engaging and inspiring presenters for 3-hour pre-conference and <1-hour or <2-hour breakout sessions for #WITcon18. Pre-conference sessions will be held from 1-3pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at various edu-locations around Galesburg. Regular Conference sessions will take place at Lombard Middle School on Thursday, June 14, and at Carl Sandburg College on Friday, June 15, 2018. Presenters should strive for sessions that are active and engaging for all participants - Avoid lecture-style "sit-and-get" sessions whenever possible! We offer you a venue to show off your best classroom or school-wide project, amazing ways to use apps, and innovative ways to engage students in learning. Successful applicants will receive free Regular Conference registration, a digital badge for your email signature or web presence, and of course no small amount of reverence and envy from your colleagues! (Your mileage may vary on that last bit, but hey, we can dream, can't we?) For more info and to complete the Presenter Application Form, click the button below: Image from pixabay.com
