I have attended WITCon every year since it began in 2016, and this conference does NOT disappoint!
I have enjoyed WITCON all three years I have attended. I have always taken away something new for my classroom
Before attending WITcon 2018, I had reached a point in my career where new technologies had become intimidating and overwhelming. After I attended WITcon, I felt reinvigorated and inspired. I walked away excited about new opportunities for my students and myself professionally. I discovered an entire facet of teaching that I had been missing out on.
The presentations are amazing. It is wonderful to meet and interact with people who feel the same importance for technology.
This past year's WITCON event was spectacular! As a first year teacher, I was able to learn from many veteran teachers who had not only come up with some of these activities including technology, but had also used them in their very own classrooms! The presenters at WITCON are amazing and personable, and are more than willing to talk you one on one if you have any questions. I was so excited to learn from these amazing teachers, but to also know that they were willing to help me out even after the conference was sensational.
WITCON allows my teachers and me to have hands-on experiences and conversations with experts in the ever growing field of educational tech. As a principal in a forward-thinking district, having the opportunity to explore and learn about new technology that is available for my staff and students is priceless.
